E-1020 silicon rubber set
The quality of the sealing depends a lot on the very good and undamaged condition of the silicon rubber. After many seals (depending on the material to be sealed and on the sealing temperature) the silicon rubber will ware off. Small parts of the silicon rubber will loose flexibility and will not assure proper surface pressure during the sealing process.
It is suggested to change both silicon rubber pieces at once to assure optimum sealing bar pressure onto the sealing wire.
